Laissez-Faire

Well, I am thinking now that perhaps I should have started my Bonaparte project research Saturday, upon my return home from the Lamar Consolidated speech tournament. But I did not. Instead, I lazed around.

There's so much stuff for me to use and so many avenues down which I could travel, that I do not know how to condense it all properly. Damn my lack of organizational skills to theoretical Hell!

I feel rather ill to the stomach and would prefer to take tomorrow off from school and life, but I assured Zach I would compile our witness questions.

Why did I volunteer for this nonsense? I could have been a measely witness. But, oh no, I had to go thinking I was clever.

Three German club candy bars remain in my baggy as of this evening. I need to get rid of them. I especially loathe fundraisers, and I think it all began when I sold Girl Scout cookies at the tender age of six. The only fun, as I recall, was standing in our dining room (when we lived in San Antonio) and gazing in muted wonder at the pile of cookie boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling. I can almost hear The Father's voice in the background,
"You mean we have to buy all these damn boxes if we don't sell 'em?!"

Hee-hee. He still has that enterprising spirit.
