Open Wide

A girl at The Rainforest Cafe this afternoon hired me. On Saturday at nine in the morning I attend some orientation meeting. $6.50 wages. It's better than nothing. I need to earn money for that Japanese trip.

Ms. Parnell seemed receptive to the idea I proferred about postponing the inception of the mock trial of Napoleon Bonaparte for war crimes. A bloc of we lawyers needs to see her early tomorrow morning to determine whether or not she will indeed push everything back a day and squeeze out the third trial day.

I delegated the responsibility of writing the defense's opening statement to myself, as Zach dibsed the closing statement, and Donna would not have the time this evening. Not only does this statement have to be coherent and persuasive, it must also be clever. Ms. Parnell likes clever. I think I quit clever in ninth grade. Crap.
