Let The Sap Run Out

I stayed home ill. My tummy keeps rumbling its fluids around. That makes me kind of nervous. I carefully nursed two frosted cherry Pop Tarts this morning between naps, and all appears well thus far. They seem content to remain where they are.

I took the time to delete more off-topic e-mails I've received from the Marx Brothers list of which I am a relatively active member. Lately, the e-mails discussed topics such as whether the United States has proof enough to bomb Iraq out of the water or whether Shakespeare meant the character Othello to be a Moor, an African, or neither of the above. Not that the threads were uninteresting, but they did consume entirely too much space. The moderator (Frank Bland) is up to his ears stressing about what to do. He might set up another list for members to discuss off-topic posts. He even mentioned he might quit, if someone else offers to assume his important position. It's not as though the poor sap gets paid for his services.
