Sweet holy crap, I just realized I forgot to read the European history textbook chapters necessary to write my free-response essay. I somehow ought to know something about the unification of the Italian and German states (but not together). I started Chapter Twenty-Two, which does not discuss the unification of either Germany or Italy, last night, but I fell asleep and knocked the book off my bed at some point. It's still upside-down on my bedroom floor. I suppose I'll go pick it up now.
