Te-su-te

Zach caught me as he left work:
"Hey- I talked to Kari Austin, and I think I moved her over to our side."

Which means we lost. Good going, Zach. He simply does not know when to keep his mouth shut. But that's fine; all my other European history grades have been horrendously high. One beating won't prevent me from graduating.

I read through to the first couple of pages of Chapter Twenty-Three last night/this morning; I'll finish the rest this evening, then tomorrow morning before school I'll write the paper. Ausgezeichnet.

Sensei Nakamoto assigned a test for which I must study. I regret I don't spend as much time as I ought on my Japanese studies, because that language is actually the easiest. Sensei Nakamoto teaches better than the other language teachers I have encountered thus far. He ascertains that everyone keeps up to at least "x" level and he refuses to tolerate the kids who do not.

If I ever stoop to teaching high school kids, I would probably have an attitude like Sensei or Mr. Richards (my junior algebra II teacher). If one does not want to work, one certainly must not feel obliged to attend my class.
