I find it intriguing that Dave Barry commented only once in his blog yesterday.
I saw footage of the Columbia explosion for the first time late last night, after the whole thing was apparently old news to most everyone else. The debate tournament cut me off from the rest of civilization for several hours.
The Father explained that some nutcases had already postulated the theory that Saddam Hussein launched land-to-air missiles that flew thirty-seven miles upward to smash into the shuttle, which was traveling at just under a mile per second. Something about this idea strikes me as uncredible.
