Send In The Clowns

My workday went slowly. People probably remained home to brood, which is precisely what I wanted to do. Actually, the restaurant threw several birthday parties. "Happy Birthday", indeed.

For my upcoming birthday (April 23rd, mark your calendars) I requested a Flying Saucer Pie Company chocolate creme pie. I also stipulated I want chocolate ice cream- plain chocolate ice cream, without chunks or surprises floating around in it.

I believe a bike is to be my birthday gift this year. I need it for college, as I do not own a motor vehicle.

Speaking of which, The Father owns a unicycle (from when he was a young lad). The tubby old man can still ride it, too, when called upon. He provides quite an amusing spectacle on that unicycle.

Tomorrow I accompany April at The Evil Mall as she hunts for a prom dress. Which reminds me I ought to stop eating entirely for the next several weeks, if I ever want to fit back into mine. I purchased it after I lost fifteen pounds last year, but putting that fifteen pounds on again puts a strain on that dress when I squeeze into it now.

I do not care to attend prom, but I suppose I must, if only to provide moral support for my female compatriots (who lack male dates). I plan to scurry in, scarf down some food, and spike the punch with something non-toxic before frolicking off to bowl (for the first time ever in my life). Donna suggested the bowling idea. I'm against it, because it requires interaction, however indirectly, with people.

Ugh. People.
