Nobody Knows You

April and I ran through part of our neighborhood last night after I returned from the Speech Club banquet. The running rendered my calves a little sore, as I did no stretching prior. Well, I did make some attempt at a warm-up, but I haven't stretched since tenth grade gym class and that was always half-assed to appease the coaches.

I work today at five o'clock. Tomorrow The Rainforest Cafe sponsors some Easter breakfast/egg hunt event, but thankfully my shift starts halfway through the nightmare.

The banquet went well. Katharine (and everyone else) admired her gift. She liked the weenie dog I had the clown guy make for the package on Wednesday. Fraz, as my "Secret Santa", bought me a "Support Our Troops" button, an "I Love Me" keychain, and a window decal which reads "You laugh because I'm different; I laugh because you're UGLY". I allowed Fraz to hug me and I spontaneously kissed his cheek (for shock and awe; Gary Johnson's mother was taking pictures). For any curious parties, Fraz knows how to pick his cologne.

Chandler's mother offered to whisk Eddie and Chandler away, but she has yet to arrive. I need them to vamoosh so I can take my shower and loaf around in my bedroom upstairs.
