If I Only Had A Brain

Village Photos obstinately refused to do business; I therefore altered the template for Bite The Waxed Tadpole instead. This labour progressed smoothly until I attempted to write in the code for a random quote generator.

Then things got ugly.

Tables vanished. Other tables, mystifyingly, from out of the heart of darkness appeared and thoroughly screwed up the page. Enraged after about twenty minutes of fiddling with the source code (which I understand only in the vaguest sense, as I comprehend the mechanics of my watch or a car), I yanked the whole thing out again and came crawling to the simple, mindless Blogger publishing tool for a short respite.

I perform repetitive, mindless actions best.

Because the plays remain the same each time, baseball is the only sport that strikes me as halfway attractive to watch. For hours I can play catch. Swimming bores the sweet holy crap out of me, unless I swim laps. My favourite card games (War, Oh! Heck, and Pyramid) require little or no strategy. As for board games, I prefer Sorry! to Trivial Pursuit.

My head hurts.
