Speak To Me Of Summer

The Father and The Mongoloids left to return home around six o'clock this morning (The Father figured he would miss rush hour coming back into Houston). They took the rain and abnormally cool weather with them. Beasts. I practically shoved them all out Pam's door. The Father made an attempt at displaying affection, doing that little shoulder hug thing because he's too squeamish to hug like a human being. He also told me to keep sight of my goals, as though a desk calendar couldn't have told me the same thing. Sigh... it is kind of cute the way the old man tries...

I wrote all my graduation thank-you letters, except for Paw-Paw's, which I feel marginally justified delaying because he now lives twenty-five minutes away. Pam took me to pick up job applications at TJ MAXX, Borders bookstore, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Borders would probably be the better place to work. Anyhow, from Pam's house it wouldn't take me ten minutes to walk to all three. And I do have my Grease Lightning now. Tomorrow I need to read the Missouri Driver's Ed book, because Paw-Paw and Chris are teaching me how to drive over the next week or two.

Pam and I went to TARGET, where I purchased picture frames, Biore pore strips, and a wastebasket for my bathroom. The trash can is clear, with blue-coloured water and floating fishies in the bottom. Before I go to bed, I am going to test out these Biore strips. I hope I pluck out something nasty.
