Search High And Low

Whelp, I returned from my banking activities, but felt too lazy to take my sweaty clothes off and don my aunt's bathing suit (which I have borrowed all summer because I do not own one myself). Instead I looked up a few scholarships.

After visiting the bank ten minutes shy of when those people close the lobby, I walked to a strip joint and purchased T.J. Maxx items I don't particularly need. These included a pair of men's Silvertab jeans which are quite comfortable around the waist, but are just a wee bit too long for my little girl legs (which are nowhere near the thirty-four inches in length specified on the tag of my new jeans). But they look fine rolled up (the jeans, not my legs. My legs don't look good, ever, in any way).

I also found a Halloween-themed photograph frame aptly suited for a Polaroid I took sophomore year of Matt Rogers at lunch eating the spicy chicken wings the cafeteria used to serve. Speaking of which, I wonder what my old poofy-haired buddy has been doing lately. I thought he went to the University of Houston, but now I cannot remember. I'll have to make a note here to inquire of Daryl as to the whereabouts of Poofy-Haired Matt.

My aunt and uncle took their child to the office today and further announced they would then observe the Rams football (preseason, naturally) game from a nice vantage point inside the stadium. They abandoned me to my own devices! I feel real proud of myself for accomplishing something somewhat lucrative.

I finally reached someone to give me a bus route to and from school starting next week. Then I phoned another service that picks motorless people such as myself up from a location (home) and drops them off somewhere else (school, work, dentist, whatever) specific, because on Tuesdays and Thursdays my intermediate algebra course begins too early (8:00) in the morning for a bus to transport me on time. I calculated I will spend around $31.00 each week getting to and from school (I get charged bus fares twice because I have to switch buses at one point). Buses might offer student passes; I'll have to check again online to be certain about whether those are applicable to me.
