A Woman To Every Man

I met four nice people as I awaited the bus that takes me from school to work. They included me in their group readily enough; one of the fellows invited me to sit with their group on the bus. I felt appreciated. I neglected to request their names, but I'll probably see them again on Friday or next Wednesday.

April probably remembers the Bruce McCulloch character (from Kids In The Hall) who rode a bike and was half-retarded. Someone who rides the bus fairly regularly reminds me of him. This forty-something man chats with the bus driver, who half-listens and grunts occasionally to indicate she hears him. I wonder if I'll meet a Cancer Boy next.

My classes went smoothly, because I had already read the chapters and merely highlighted the notes I had written from the textbooks previously. I'm such a good girl. We discussed phallic symbols from ancient Greece and Rome in human sexuality today. I love the ancient Romans. Something I already knew: gladius ("sword") was a Roman euphemism for "penis". Latin class comes in handy sometimes.

I need to sleep, but I drank too much caffeine to get through this day, and now it's spilled over into the next day and I cannot sleep, my eyeballs hurt...
