The Checkered Camel Company

I lifted the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and mousepad from the floor to my desktop. I look goofy when not lifting objects, but when lifting objects, I manage to look even goofier.

I remember linking once to a haiku-posting blog, but I cannot recall its title or url. I'm supposed to be cleaning my room, so I'll assign the search project to Louis, if he cares to accept (seeing as how he started this whole mess).

I played hooky from school this morning. I didn't feel well, and I knew I would only doze on my hand during class. I e-mailed my intermediate algebra instructor circa five o'clock, pleading off with a fever. He probably suspects the truth of the situation, but he replied that he would accept my homework (which was due today) tomorrow if I bring it in before noon. Ausgezeichnet.

I was supposed to help unload a truck at work, but the truck was cancelled, thereby cancelling me as well. This did not make me sob.

I stayed home and cleaned. Later I ventured to work to check my schedule and to purchase a cherry-coloured picture frame. I placed a photograph of Donna and Kristoffer in it.

Now I will go clean some more. Papers and pictures and papers and books and papers accumulated in and must be cleared out of The Lauree Lair.
