Today it rained, but I nevertheless practiced in a junior high parking lot pulling into slots and backing up straight. My parallel parking improved, as well.
Prior to my little practice, my grandpa and I visited Great-Great Aunt Geneva (my mother's great-aunt) to clean her hearing aids and make sure her roommate wasn't nagging her again. She asked after my mother, apparently forgetting (at least momentarily) that my mother died. This concerned my grandpa, especially because when Geneva saw me a few weeks ago, she knew exactly who I was (and that my mother had died). It distressed him that she's apparently started to slip.
After he dropped me off at home again around noon, my grandpa left and I vanished downstairs for a three and-a-half hour nap. I worked (what is Labor Day, but a day of labor?) from 6:00-9:45. Pam and Chris let me out at Stein Mart beforehand, though, where I purchased two (2) shirts, averaging each to eleven dollars.
Now I hardly know what to do with myself.
