Tomorrow I fully intend to sleep in. It will be so beautiful!at 9:30 PM
Tonight one of my old Vector cohorts (a fellow named "Joe") happened to stop by for the show. It was a pleasant meeting. He'll switch over to Meramec next semester; until then, he goes to another school in the St. Louis Community College system (there are four total). I walked into the movie after I finished dishing out popcorn and drinks (to people who are awfully picky), but as it was quite dark for obvious reasons, I could not find Joe to acquire his phone number. Dadgummit. But oh, well. I shall surely bump into him again.
The driver who picked me up held a long conversation with me about the double standards of Christians. I certainly enjoyed speaking with a human being for once (beyond the inane "how-are-yous" that have typified my speech as of late). Then we discussed how we (more he than I) see phallic symbols everywhere. If only my bus drivers could be as inquisitive. They usually comment either on the weather or the behavior of the retarded people who ride the bus.
I walked two and-a-half miles to-and-from work the day I played hooky from school. I shall repeat this process tomorrow. I'm getting soccer player legs for the pagan winter holiday.
