In answer to Beth's comment of a few days ago: from what I understand, the Chicago trip will be primarily recreational, especially since we don't take it as a class. We might attend several events partially to observe the ways they market themselves, but we won't be obligated to do anything. Ausgezeichnet.
I need to unload some files onto my computer; more elaboration to come tomorrow.
