The Father did not purchase plane tickets for me to visit the K-hole this December because he wants me to come back permanently. He consulted several people, who told him I was wasting my time in community college and that he should bite the bullet, take out some loans, and send me to a real college (such as UT) next fall.at 7:44 AM
I agree with most of this, with the exception of moving back to the K-hole. I still do not have my own car, for one thing, and I won't get one right away if I move back. At least I know that here Aunt Laura and Uncle Nick will provide me a driveable car within a few weeks of today (Nick took the car in to check something with the suspension). Disadvantage Number Two: the K-hole, like an ass hole, extends for miles with little change in the view, which is shitty at best. The things to do in St. Louis are much more accessible.
The Father could possibly land me a cushy receptionist job at his place of employment. I would most likely leave whenever he leaves, and I would only work on weekdays. Plus, the pay would be muy bueno, at least for someone without a degree. Even without The Father's job securement, Rainforest Cafe would hire me back immediately, and with my previous experience, I could work at the Marshalls in The Evil Mall. However, I do not want to work at The Evil Mall, for obvious reasons.
I took the time and effort to move all the way up here, so I really don't want to return until next summer at the earliest. I can consider this year my study abroad, so to speak. Rather than spend money on a full course load next semester, then, I'll just take algebra (which I am 99.9% certain transfers from anywhere to anywhere) and perhaps chemistry.
Well, I enumerated most of what I needed to cover, I think.
