The Checkered Camel Company

I read my aunt Laura part of St. Augustine's The Teacher as she drove to TGIFriday's to pick up Debbie (her daughter, my cousin) from work. Laura did not appreciate my attempt to enlighten her. I found the passage light and amusing, but Laura found herself unable to recognize the hilarity. If read and understood correctly, it isn't a dry text at all. My favourite part is when Adeodatus tells his father, "You press me sore." When Laura shook her head, telling me I was weird, I declared: "Laura- you press me sore!" and collapsed in giggles. She remained unamused. Aunt Laura is a stinky-puss grouchy-face.

Uncle Nick's family (sisters, nephews, et cetera) shall arrive within the hour to partake of baked ham. I participate in two Thanksgivings this year! Lucky me. In a minute I have to put on my make up (black eyeliner, mascara, and clear lip gloss). Then I will disappear into the computer room to play the deluxe edition of SimCity 4. Ausgezeichnet. I shall emerge at 4:00 p.m. to consume ham, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, and rolls. Mmm...

This morning I ate oatmeal cake for breakfast.
