The Checkered Camel Company

My aunt Laura bought Wolves of the Calla at Sam's Club the other night for $19.22. Now I have something new to read. We went to the bookstore Saturday, where I also acquired Philosophy in the Middle Ages: The Christian, Jewish, and Islamic Traditions and Helter Skelter. The philosophy book seems like a supplemental text; it's similar to the little black book we carried around in European history last year. I put Helter Skelter in the back of my mind many moons ago after I read Bugliosi's book about the O. J. Simpson trial. Since Bugliosi himself prosecuted Manson, his account of this subject ought to be even more interesting.

I arrived at school earlier than necessary in order to check out subjects pertaining to my medieval philosophy book. It's been a while since I've done anything purposeful. I almost feel as though I am accomplishing something.

Ah... to read is good.
