I am now a Butt-Fuckers employee! I chop lettuce and provide quality service with a smile at the rate of seven dollars per hour. Less free time equals a Happy Lauree, because I had no money before to do anything substantial with my bonus minutes.at 12:12 AM
Fuddruckers operates six restaurants in Saudi Arabia, one in Qatar, and four in the United Arab Emirates. Something about this strikes me as highly amusing, but it's too abstract for me to describe adequately. I believe the information explains itself. Anyhow, it's nice to know that I could possibly transfer to an exotic nation.
Today (yesterday, rather) I prepped food from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. I would have stayed an entire shift, but the manager on duty allowed me to leave, as he knew there would be no business due to the icy roads. My uncle set me up at the Holiday Inn across the street from Fuddruckers (Uncle Nick is the reservatioins manager) until about six o'clock, which is when he decided it was safe enough for him to drive out to fetch me. He had to drive twenty-five miles per hour the entire time, but we made it home alive.
I coloured for five hours. Aunt Laura bought calendars from Waldenbooks- they were marked at a seventy-five percent discount- for me and my cousins (Debbie and Krista) to colour. They also came with delightful stickers for President's Day, the beginning of Advent, the end of Kwanzaa, the first day of school, Flag Day, et cetera. I had lots of fun.
I get more colouring time tomorrow (today) because the ice will not have melted, which means I must remain inside if I value my life. Also, the schools closed and I do not want to look at children (vampire monkeys).
