The Checkered Camel Company

I attended my first day of this semester's classes. My "Introduction To Sociology" class will probably be more generic than I would like it to be, but I suppose I should not complain if I receive an "A" with minimal effort. My "Persuasion" professor is the communications department head. I enjoyed listening to him, which leads me to expect positive future results. Japanese also looks promising.

I am concerned slightly about my algebra class. It is a section for non-tech majors, but apparently, this means the instructor expects us to work in groups (I suppose with the purpose of helping each other to find the answers). I shrink from this idea. I do not play well with others. I prefer my own pace; I request help when I need it. If someone else works too quickly or too slowly, I appreciate having the option to ignore them. Unfortunately, no other (straight-lecture) sections are available. Dadgummit.

Upon my arrival home from school I practiced my Japanese pronunciation. In fact, I believe I shall go out now to invest in some flash cards. Sayoonara.
