The Checkered Camel Company

I viewed Lost In Translation (should a movie be italicized or put in quotations?) at the Anjelika last night with April and Conor. I wonder how Scarlett Johannson felt, being a seventeen year-old and kissing Bill Murray's face. People who demonstrate their talents make me nauseous. But Johannson impressed me, and Bill Murray also performed well.

We three stood in front of the theater, under the shadow of 700 Louisiana, chatting until 12:30-ish before Conor's father arrived to pick him up (Conor apparently behaved badly and lost rights to his car for an unspecified amount of time). I mentioned a few hilarious things The Father told me in our "heart-to-heart" discussion we had last night before I went out. I will share my favourite:
"Lauree, no matter where you go or what you do with your life, you need to stop eating so much."
Need I another reason to move eight hundred-fifty miles away?
