The Checkered Camel Company

My manager (Rob) wants me to train for Bakery in addition to training as a Sales Associate (cashier). Fuddruckers agreed to give me a higher starting pay, based on my experience. This also translates to high expectations of me on the part of my managers. Thus on Wednesday I train with the bakery guy starting at 7:00 a.m., and I visit him again this Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Rob informs me of my associate training schedule Wednesday when I come in. Anyhow, I am competent enough to work at Fuddruckers. Hee... and I get to play with the dough!

I hope my school closes tomorrow, but I probably won't find out for certain until the ten o'clock news. The news predicts further inclement weather in the form of snow throughout the evening and into the early morning hours. I almost slipped down the stairs leading from the front door when I went out to fetch the mail this afternoon. I disapprove of this slick business. Instead of sinking into the snow, my feet skid across the ice frozen on top. When I spoke with him briefly last night, The Father gloated about his sitting on his front porch yesterday, wearing shorts and one of his fruit-coloured muscle shirts. That is just sick and wrong.

I cannot believe I find myself in a serious discourse about the weather. I should go read a book or something.
