I am pleased to note that I opened bakery without a hitch this morning. The general manager even mentioned my substantial improvement, which means much because he is the type of manager who never tells anyone when he or she is doing a good job.at 2:11 PM
The general manager told me the Department of Health advised we no longer leave a rag under the shake machine (it collects spilled mix so that I don't have to scrub the machine itself- I just lift the rag and toss it). 'It's a breeding ground for bacteria.' Pssh. I can think of plenty of worse places for bacteria to be breeding. Provided they don't give me meningitis or an STD, they can make as many babies as they want to, if it makes my life that much easier. Have the Health Department people ever cleaned a shake machine? The mix is milk-based; it's not urine. Unless I wipe the machine with my tongue, I won't die.
Maybe I shouldn't work. I get too involved, emotionally.
