I took my sociology and algebra exams today. I spent a minimal amount of preparation on both of them, which I am certain was an injurious course of non-action as far as concerns algebra. Sociology usually speaks common sense- I missed two of the lectures and only read through part of one reading assignment, but I felt confident answering most of the test questions. Before class I reviewed who did what, which was all I needed to do. The algebra stuff covered what I learned-but-did-not-retain in precalculus last year- finding asymptotes and such. I reviewed my notes and read through the book, but because I did not practice actual problems very much, I probably missed crucial steps here and there on the exam. Dagnabbit. I made an "A" on my first algebra exam and a "C" on the second, with predictions for a "C" or a "D" on this one, that is if I did not fail it outright. Sometimes I pull things out of nowhere and surprise myself, which I hope is the case here.at 5:17 PM
Well, to cease the school babble, I made my work meeting on time, but no one else did. We didn't start the meeting until half an hour after people were told to show up, and only half of them did. I did not appreciate waiting around, because I am deathly ill, as I have mentioned in previous posts.
Whine and mope. Borders stocks Yes albums, but they've never ordered Tormato (I requested it once, but it never shipped in) until fairly recently, apparently. I spied a lonely copy of the remastered version and clutched it to my breast before anyone else could snatch it from me (I know everyone wants it).
Now it is time for bed.
