The current treatment of homosexuals parallels former American attitudes towards blacks, the Irish, and communists. This makes me nervous, especially since more prohibitive legislation is even being considered. I do not want gay people in internment camps, or unable to vote, or unable to visit hospitalized dying loved ones.at 8:59 PM

As I closed down the bakery this evening, a man came up and ordered a brownie a la mode, which I obligingly fixed for him. As I did this, he talked at me for approximately twenty minutes about such exciting topics as how Americans are losing more jobs, the 2002 American-supported Venezuelan coup that failed and made Venezuela worse off but America richer, and his disassociation from immigrants who refuse to master the English language. He informed me we would eventually mess with North Korea, forcing them to nuke the entire planet, at which point in the dialogue I decided to kill myself and thus solve all my problems.
I didn't bother charging him. I would have given him everything in Bakery to go away.
