The Checkered Camel Company

I returned from work to find April's birthday package awaiting me. Debbie came into the room as I opened it and asked, 'What do you think it is?' to which I replied, 'Probably something dead. I've killed every living thing she's ever gotten me, except that plant that requires no water and no sunlight.'

This year, as a symbol of her undying love for me, April sent a plush Kermit Muppet Baby. I am thrilled. I am also beginning to run out of room in The Lauree Lair, which means Kermie will have to sleep in my bed... with me. I know he'll be thrilled. I sort of feel bad now, though- I didn't get April a boy-toy for her birthday. I know that's all she really wants.

I am thankful that I do not have genital warts.
