Today I attended my last day of regular classes. Next Tuesday all my finals occur consecutively. Then I shall spend the entire summer either working or sleeping until the fall semester begins.at 2:40 PM
The Ad Club held a meeting today, which I finally had time to attend. The people at this meeting didn't even know who I was. I quickly informed them of my fame and repute as the almighty Meramec Community College Advertising Club Treasurer. Last semester I worked every sponsored event and made all the meetings, but this semester work left me little time for anything else. The sponsor loves me, though, and I assured her I would be available during the summer.
I decided to major in public relations with a minor either in business or a language. Then I'll major in Latin with a minor in classical studies (or vice versa). In any case, I will drain The Father of all financial resources. I mention this because I happened to discuss my plans with a boy named Gavin as we waited for Japanese class to begin. I will miss Gavin somewhat; he's a decent kid. Well, he's twenty-five. I told him he's an old man. I admire Gavin because I suspect he isn't the brightest bear, but he studied the entire semester and found himself genuinely liking the course. I remained distant from people during my time in St. Louis because I knew I would only leave anyway, but now, of course, I rather regret that. Dadgummit. I insist on learning everything the long way.
I am progressing through the Latin textbook I received for Christmas. I bought its corresponding workbook and found the answers to that online. I haven't printed them out yet, though, because my computer doesn't read the pdf file. I must use the one upstairs.
I am a bit bored. I suppose I'll drive to the bookstore to spend Nick and Laura's birthday giftcard.
